My current research focus is in extraction of non-ferrous metals from ore/lean grade ore and wastes. The recycling of waste is my interested area of research. My other work continues in the ilmenite processing for recovery of pigment grade titanium dioxide. I am very keen to set up pilot plants and transfer my technologies to industries.
In this way my one of the process on zinc powder recovery from zinc dross has been transferred to industries and a plant is being set up. I extensively use XRD, SEM, TG/DTA and EPMA for our studies. My research publications can be found at ResearchGate/Google Scholar.
