My current research interest is in the Remaining life assessment of Engineering Components. For this we carry out non destructive testing at site as well destructive testing on sample extracted from components to arrive at the safe life inspection interval.  My other research interests are magnetic materials, materials characterization and non destructive evaluation. I also work on ultrasonic for microstructure evaluation
