Conceptualized and organized for the first time in 2012, the India Water Week is a regular forum where the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Government of lndia discusses, talks, strategizes with eminent stakeholders through seminars, exhibitions and sessions to build public awareness, to get support to implement key strategies for conservation, preservation and optimum use of available water. This is the sixth event of its kind with the theme "Water Cooperation – Coping with 21st Century Challenges" focusing on need and importance of water use across all sectors.

The fifth event namely, India Water Week 2017 was organised with the theme “Water and Energy for Inclusive Growth” with European Union as International partner and The Netherlands as International Sponsor.

The Conference was attended by more than 1500 national and international delegates. The India Water Week (IWW) 2019 will be organized by the Ministry of Water Resources, RD & GR in co-ordination with nodal Ministries of Agriculture; Environment, Forest and Climate Change; Rural Development; Urban Development; Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation; Power; New and Renewable Energy; Niti Aayog along with their associated expert organizations and Public Sector Units, key International Bodies and Private and Public business houses.Partners in Organisation.

Participation

The registration fee payable by the delegates including author of papers for the conference is as follows:Delegates attending the conference as well as exhibitors can sign up/register for both the conference and exhibition online. Please note that expressing interest through registration is free of cost. However, participation in the conference is subject to payment of registration fee.
